A simple, wholesome cookie recipe made with Mil8 Health Mix Powder, butter, and country sugar. These cookies are mildly sweet, crisp, and ideal as a healthier tea-time snack for children and adults.
Ingredient | Quantity |
Mil8 Health Mix Powder | 200 g |
Butter | 100 g |
Powdered country sugar | 100 g |
Baking powder | 1 tsp |
Baking soda | ¼ tsp |
Milk | 1 to 2 tbsp, only if needed |
Vanilla essence | ½ tsp, optional |
① Take soft butter in a mixing bowl and beat it for 5 to 7 minutes until it becomes light and creamy.
② Add powdered country sugar and beat again until well combined.
③ Add Mil8 Health Mix Powder little by little and mix gently.
④ Add baking powder and baking soda. Mix using a spatula until the dough comes together.
⑤ If the dough feels too dry or crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk slowly and mix again.
⑥ Make small balls from the dough and place them on a baking tray.
⑦ Press each ball lightly with a fork to flatten and create a simple cookie pattern.
⑧ Preheat the oven to 180°C.
⑨ Bake at 180°C for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges turn slightly firm.
⑩ Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely. They will become firmer after cooling.
Do not overbake. The cookies may look slightly soft when removed from the oven, but they will harden after cooling.
Use powdered country sugar for better texture.
If the dough breaks while shaping, add a little milk.
For a richer version, chopped nuts or choco chips can be added.
Store in an airtight container after cooling fully. Best consumed within 7 to 10 days.
