Millet Pancakes

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup milk

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1 tablespoon sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add milk. Mix well.

Create Batter:

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. The batter might be a bit lumpy, but that's okay.

Heat the Pan:

  • Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface.

Cook the Pancakes:

  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2 minutes), then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.

Serve:

  • Remove the pancakes from the pan and repeat until all the batter is used.

Enjoy:

  • Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, honey, or fresh fruits.
